I am Dr. Praveen Kumar T. D., an Academician, Teacher Educator, Researcher, and Resource person with more than 14 years of teaching and academic experience. I currently serve as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at "Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya", Sagar, a Central University. My academic qualifications include M.A., M.Ed., M.Sc., Ph.D., and NET-JRF. My academic work primarily focuses on Teacher Education, Artificial Intelligence in Education, ICT and Digital Pedagogy, Pedagogy, Educational Research, Assessment and Evaluation, and Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS). A significant part of my recent work explores how AI can be meaningfully integrated with pedagogy, teacher preparation, assessment, reflective practice, and professional capacity building, rather than treating technology merely as a classroom tool. I have published research in Scopus-indexed, UGC-CARE, and peer-reviewed journals and have guided postgraduate dissertations and doctoral research. I have also contributed as a resource person in more than 50 workshops and academic programmes and have been associated with UNESCO’s Open Education for a Better World (OE4BW) initiative as a mentor. My research interests increasingly connect AI, IKS, sustainability, teacher competencies, employability, curriculum innovation, and evidence-based educational practices. I am particularly interested in developing and validating new educational models, assessment tools, scales, and technology-supported solutions that can be practically implemented in teacher education. For me, education is not simply about transmitting knowledge. It is about creating competent, reflective, ethical, technologically empowered, and socially responsible teachers who can respond to the changing needs of education and society.
